AI meta description writer
Three descriptions at the right length, from what the page actually covers. Free and no account. Your text is sent to our server and on to a language model to generate the result; it is not stored.
171 / 4,000 characters
This one is not like the rest of the hub: what you type is sent to our server and on to a language model to produce the answer. It is not stored, and there is no account. A few runs per person per day, because each one costs us money.
The result will appear here.
What it tells you
Three angles, not three rewrites
Each option takes a different approach so there is a real choice rather than three versions of one sentence.
Length measured, not claimed
The character count is measured on the returned text, not taken from the model's word for it.
Written to be read
No 'discover', no 'unlock', no 'in today's digital landscape'. Those are banned in the prompt.
Copy one and go
Straight into your head tag or your CMS field.
How to use it
- 1Give it the page titleOptional, but it stops the description repeating the title back at you.
- 2Say what the page coversA sentence or two. Specifics produce specifics; vagueness produces boilerplate.
- 3Pick the angle that fitsThen check the length band and paste it in.
Questions people ask
Does a meta description affect rankings?
No. Google has been explicit that it is not a ranking factor. It affects click-through, which is worth caring about on its own, and Google substitutes its own snippet a majority of the time when a passage from the page answers the query better than your description does.
Why 140 to 158 characters?
It is the band that survives truncation on most desktop results without leaving obvious empty space. Google truncates on pixel width rather than character count, so treat it as a target rather than a rule, and read the result to check it still makes sense as a sentence.
Is my text stored?
No. It is posted to our server, forwarded to the model to produce the answer, and not written to a database. It is worth being clear that this tool does send your text somewhere, unlike most of the tools on this hub, which never leave your browser.
Why only a few runs a day?
Each run costs us money, and the tool is free and needs no account. A daily cap is what makes that sustainable. If you need it at volume, that is what the product does.

Want a tool like this on your own domain?
This page is the argument for the offer. A small useful utility gets embedded and linked, and every embed is a link back. kiterank builds one for your audience and hosts it on your domain, so the links accrue to you rather than to us.
