Questions people ask
Does FAQ schema still get rich results?
Mostly not. Google restricted FAQ rich results to well-known government and health sites in 2023, so for almost everyone the visible snippet is gone. The markup is still worth adding because it tells parsers, including the ones behind AI assistants, which sentence answers which question. Expect comprehension, not a rich result.
Can I add the schema without showing the questions?
No. Marking up content a visitor cannot see is a structured-data violation, and the manual action for it removes rich results across the whole domain rather than just that page. Publish the visible block first.
Are the answers accurate?
They are plausible, which is not the same thing. The model is told never to invent statistics, prices or dates, but it does not know your product. Read every answer before publishing and correct anything that is not true of you specifically.
How many questions should a page have?
Five is usually plenty, which is why this returns five. A page with twenty FAQs is normally a page avoiding a rewrite: if the body copy answered the question, the FAQ would not need to.
