Questions people ask

How accurate is a headline score?

It is a checklist that counts, not a prediction. No headline analyser has access to your click-through rate or your audience, including the well known ones, so every score you have ever seen is heuristics somebody chose. That is why this shows all six checks rather than hiding them behind a number.

Should I always use a number in a headline?

No. Numbers make a promise concrete and they help for list and guide content, which is why the check exists. For an opinion piece or an announcement, forcing one in makes the headline worse.

What headline length is best for SEO?

Thirty to sixty characters fills a search result without truncating. Below thirty leaves the snippet looking thin; above sixty and Google usually cuts it, though it also rewrites titles often enough that this is a guideline rather than a rule.

Is my headline sent anywhere?

No. This runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.
