Keyword intent classifier

What each keyword wants, and the one page type that should target it. Free and no account. Your text is sent to our server and on to a language model to generate the result; it is not stored.

117 / 4,000 characters

This one is not like the rest of the hub: what you type is sent to our server and on to a language model to produce the answer. It is not stored, and there is no account. A few runs per person per day, because each one costs us money.

The result will appear here.

What it tells you

  • Four intents, no hedging

Informational, commercial, transactional or navigational. The prompt forbids 'it depends'.

  • The page type to build

The useful half. Knowing a keyword is commercial matters less than knowing it needs a comparison page.

  • A whole list at once

Paste the output of a keyword tool and get the whole set classified in one pass.

  • A reason per row

Twelve words on why, so you can disagree with it where it is wrong.

How to use it

  1. 1Paste your keywordsOne per line, straight from a planner export.
  2. 2Group by the Build columnKeywords sharing a page type usually belong on the same page, not on several thin ones.
  3. 3Sanity-check the odd onesIntent is a judgement call and the model makes some. Your own search results are the tiebreak.

Questions people ask

Why does intent matter more than volume?

Because it decides what to build. A high-volume informational keyword aimed at a product page will not convert and usually will not rank either, since the results are full of guides. Matching page type to intent is most of what people mean by search intent optimisation.

Can one keyword have two intents?

Some genuinely do, and this tool picks the dominant one rather than hedging. Where you disagree, the deciding evidence is what already ranks: if page one is all comparisons, the intent is commercial regardless of how the phrase reads.

Should each keyword get its own page?

No, and this is where classification earns its keep. Keywords sharing an intent and a page type usually belong together. Splitting them creates pages that compete with each other for the same result.

Is my keyword list stored?

No. It is posted to our server, sent to the model, and not written to a database. Unlike most tools on this hub, this one does send your text somewhere, which is worth knowing if the list itself is sensitive.
